Since I got to know the Dominic in Siegburg, a likeable, young, agile and ambitious man, I went spontaneously into the Böttner's. And I have to say that this shop is very cozy, pleasant atmosphere with good music of the last decades in the middle of Siegburg! I enjoyed my coffee, not Senseo pad porridge, but aromatic fragrant coffee, with an interested, communicative host mentality. Since the first day we go regularly to the böttners in the Holzgasse. The Vinothek & Bar also sells craft beer, wine and selected spirits throughout the day. Before the opening, the location was completely renovated and modernized. In my opinion very successful and the atmosphere is consistent. Recently we attended an event (wine tasting jewel wines). In a round with about 20 participants you can taste the wine in peace and ask the winegrower / questions. In addition, bread and cheese is served. All in all, a successful concept.

Craft beer and wine in a modern atmosphere. The owner was very attentive. The in-house beer surprised me positively, a successful mixture of Kölsch and ale. However, the wine selection is too limited, not well selected and geared to very simple wines. Accordingly, the advice of who begins to describe the wine with the alcohol content and then does not really follow anymore, missed his call. With such a shop must sit the selection, otherwise I can go straight to the nearest supermarket. The wine tavern, which is 500 m away, is thus clearly the better address for wine. There could be some more seating.
